“Regimes of Truth: Art, Power and The Making of Reality”

From the Gallery: “ The show takes inspiration from French philosopher Micheal Foucault’s notion that every society constructs its own “Regime of Truth", a framework of knowledge, norms and authority that determines what is acccepted as true, and who has the right to define it.”

Rooted & Grounded

“Artwork may be inspired by nature, subject matter that is literally 'rooted’ or ‘grounded’, or in another sense, showing what figuratively keeps one rooted, grounded, giving secure foundations,
being well balanced & firmly established, bringing stability, assurance, resilience or perhaps referencing something else that keeps the artist rooted & grounded… in a literal or more metaphorical sense.
We anticipate that the show will leave you feeling more grounded,
with a sense of calm & peace.”
